It’s been a slow news week for The Elder Scrolls Online, and I mean slow. No developer interviews, no new media, no announcements, not even any beta murmerings from around the internet. If you’re an avid fan of a franchise, eagerly awaiting news about the next upcoming title, times like this can be very nerve wracking. Is no news good news? Are they far too busy pounding out content and smashing bugs to be bothered with tossing scraps to us fans? Or is it there bad news in store for us? Things are way behind schedule and they’ve gone quiet as their PR big wigs try to think of a way to break the news to us that Spring 2014 isn’t going to happen? I doubt that!
In my opinion, things are probably going full steam over at ZOS, and they’re busy pushing all the different pieces of this massive project into place. I won’t be suprised if the beta begins to ramp up to very large proportions in the next month or two. Some people are speculating that the next major beta will be nearly feature complete with content available from level 1 to endgame AvA. Hopefully some new details will be revealed soon.
In the meantime, enjoy this slightly older bit of media:
If you were woried about the graphics quality of ESO, I think this should put your mind at ease. RPG fans should be pretty excited aobut how unique you’ll be able to make your avatar, as well. At the very least, I hope we get another nice video from ZOS this week, but let’s keep our sights high – maybe a major announcement is in the works!
